An ongoing public art program includes workshops, artists' floor talks, lectures and holiday art activities. The Gallery has exhibited work by a number of prominent Australian artists including Tasmanian painter David Keeling, West Australian artist Jonathan Kimberley and renowned Tasmanian printmaker Bea Maddock.
